Gems and Rubies, Glowing Stars
Once were flakes, but you were far
From all the days that make them shine
With things at hand much less divine
And now as time has passed you by
The taste is bitter and more sublime
Tainted by the spell you cast
One you thought could never last
When new they never felt your touch
As they grew they felt just as much
For reasons only you can say
Were bold enough to never play
So what is it now that makes you sad?
When healthy it was never this bad
Could pure love have sprouted this fast,
When for so much time, these gems were last?
GOODNESS COMES BACK TO YOU
Not many can say
At the end of the day
The things you have done
For other's dismay
Bringing peace of mind
Of a special kind
That heals the soul
And is hard to define
The day will come soon
When you will feel too
Another's compassion
For things that you do
And when that time comes
You'll be under the sun
Forever together
Not ever undone
So be with yourself
An essence of help
Discover what's right
You'll be able to tell
For goodness comes back
To people like you
In ways that are wonderful
Honest and true
WE HAVE TO LET GO
We have to let go
For peace we want to know
But hard to find
with a busy mind
So release your brow
At least for now
So all that you hold
Is faith in the whole
World that is warm
Nothing is wrong
Its arms around you
Making you strong
And me holding you close
Tonight in your dreams
SO PURE
Goodness
So pure
Seems elusive
Its clear
Once found
It's not free
Of doubt
Lest For me
For times
Have gone by
When my mind
Would ask why
The stars
Seem to shine
But far
Be it mine
To hold
Close to me
Forever in need
Of true honesty
FALLING DEEPER IN LOVE
Glimses and glances
Mind's eye trances
Moments of fantastic
Dreams and romances
Wish to be near you
But always can hear two
Hearts beating closely
Something to hold on to

Memories of the future
As real as if we knew
What's written in the sky
As the sun comes up anew
And when dusk is upon us
Light of the moon bright
Warming our souls together
No matter how dark the night
